Cosplay Competition
Join us for an exciting Cosplay Competition showcasing the creative and passionate cosplayers from our community!
This event is open to everyone who would like to show off their costumes.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
• A sign-up form will be located at the information desk in the foyer – participants must be signed up no later than 12:45 pm
• Participants should arrive at The LINK by 12:45 pm to check in for the competition.
COMPETITION FORMAT:
• Participants will be lined up in a running order so they can be announced and credited properly.
• Each cosplayer will walk the stage to show off their costume to the audience.
• Audience interaction is encouraged - the louder the cheers, the better!
• There will be two age categories - 16+ and under 16's.
• There will not be a winner for the under 16’s category – it is just a fun opportunity for younger guests to show off their costume!
JUDGING CRITERIA:
• The winner of the 16+ category will be determined by the loudest round of applause from the audience.
PRIZES:
• Bragging rights as the community’s top cosplayer!
• The winner of the 16+ category will receive a special prize, to be announced on the day.
• All participants in the under 16’s category will receive a small prize for taking part, as no winner will be chosen.
